SMFC Next Steps Committee… after Measure P
The Superintendent’s Next Steps Committee has met twice at the District Office and once to tour some of the SMFC schools.
Their next meeting will be on Monday, April 7th from 5:30-7:00 at the SMFC District Office. This discussion will be the first on issues surrounding current “inequities” in our district.
The Public is encouraged to attend these important meetings, as observers, and questions may be posed for further consideration before the close of each meeting.
I hope that you will consider coming to these important meetings to hear the considerations and ideas as we work to identify the best solutions to equity & capacity issues in the San Mateo-Foster City School District!
I wholeheartedly trust and endorse Chelsea Bonini for school board. I have seen her consistently serve the needs of children in our community. Chelsea is someone who excels in everything she does, and would be an awesome board member.

“I enthusiastically support Chelsea for SMFCSD School Board. Chelsea is reliable, hardworking, and trustworthy. Her experiences as a teacher and mother in combination with her skills as a businesswoman make her an ideal candidate to balance the responsibilities and challenges of this position. She is open-minded and thoughtful, and will make decisions based on the best interest of the students and their educational success.”

Terri Dien, Chef & Entrepreneur
“Chelsea is a dedicated parent and PTA Board member for Laurel Elementary School. She is always willing to help and get involved in all school needs. She is also very active in her community by participating on the little league Auxiliary Board. She is always a pleasure to work with.”
Barbara & Chris Sibley, Parents
“In the fall of 1996, Chelsea and I shared a classroom with 36 1st graders while more rooms were being built as the school transitioned for class-size reduction to 20 students per class for grades K-3. For 10 weeks, until my classroom was ready to move into, we worked side by side in very close quarters. It was a pleasure to work with Chelsea. Her dedication to her students, thoughtful lesson planning, enthusiasm and organization were not only impressive but contagious. I highly recommend Chelsea Bonini for the position of school board member.”
